LTE ENGINEERS SDN. BHD., formerly known as LTE Consultants Sdn. Bhd., first started business in 1989 as an engineering consultant. Within a short period of time, we were recognized as a highly specialized civil & structural engineering team and on that merit secured a number of projects in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. The scope of projects involved the engineering for the construction and installation of offshore structures such as production platforms, riser and living quarter platforms, offshore modules, flarebooms and telecommunication towers.

In those days, the trend of the industry to venture and install offshore structures into deeper waters posed a growing challenge to technological advancement in response to new problems encountered. The presence of hostile environment out in the open sea where the strongest wind, wave and current may be encountered demanded from the engineers’ rigorous planning and studies and higher level of accuracy and safety consciousness than normally required.
