SCOPE OF WORK
The two pieces of durian plantation lands were located in Pahang. Both the lands were hilly and approx.. 45 mins drive from the main roads.
LTE was appointed as the lead engineering consultants (including architectural works) for all the building and infra works including
- Earthwork and terrain design.
- Road and drainage design.
- Plantation Water Source and Storage Ponds Design.
- Trees Alignment and Spacing Planning Design.
- Plantation Irrigation Reticulation and Pumping Design.
- Planning and detailed design for worker & staff quarters, office blocks, warehouses,
multipurpose halls, pump houses. - QS and M&E consultancy services were also included in LTE’s scope of works.
The engineering input by LTE had drastically enhanced the efficiency of the nos. of tree per acre of the projects. Irrigation system proposed by LTE had improved the cost efficiency to a very satisfying level, a cost saving of not less than 40% compared to a similar scheme done on another site with the same site condition.
The quarters and staffs’ residences have been designed in adopting IBS system to achieve high cost and time efficiency.
Tree Planting Alignment and Spacing were designed based on the design brief furnished by the Plantation Consultant appointed by the Client.

Buildings were planned & design to sit on cut ground to avoid adopting piled foundation.
Raft footings were adopted to achieve high time & cost efficiency.
Beamless and Columnless System was adopted to save time and cost for the projects
